Hi, I'm Rene'. I am the mom of two boys who currently are 12 and 16. They are such an integral part of who I am -- which seems like an awful lot of pressure to put on two young men. I'm struggling to accept their impending adulthood. I frequently wish for the days when they were 4 and 9. But watching them grow up is also a joy.
I am married for the second time to my wonderful husband, Doug. I never thought I'd get married a second time. But it seems to be the right decision. We get along great most of time. Marriage is hard work. I'm reminded of that frequently. But the advantage of having been married before is that the pitfalls are more recognizable.
We live in the "burbs" -- Sandy, Utah. It's beautiful here. We're nestled close to the mountains.
I work full time for a company that does computer systems for airlines. It's a challenging business.
