Since my last post, I made Thai Basil chicken, Duff Goldman's French Buttercream, an amazing Coffee cake, Homemade Strawberry sauce and, hands down, the best cheesecake I've ever made. I promise to blog about them soon.
I'm starting this blog as a place to focus my culinary efforts. I joined twitter (@rknap14) and suddenly I am in contact with all of these amazing cooks.
I want to cook like that! Unfortunately, as working mom of two very active sons, my time for my culinary pursuits seems to be limited. However, I'm not giving up.
My biggest problem to this point is forgetting where I put recipes that I have tried. Or not writing down what I've done.
I'm a good cook. And I'm pretty freelance -- meaning recipes are just to give me ideas. I have some software that I keep recipes in...but sometimes it's hard to find. Or I don't write down enough of my thoughts. So I'm going to blog.
I won't promise that all of the blogs will be about cooking.
